A Day in the Life of a Gallery Leather Customer Service Representative

Our talented team of Customer Service Representatives are here to assist our customers with anything they might need. From providing tracking information on an order to answering chats about our website, our team is always ready to help. We hope you enjoy reading this blog and learning more about the friendly people you talk to when you call or chat with us.

When the Customer Service team arrives at 8:00 am, they get right to work by responding to any emails that came in the night before, any voicemails that were left after hours, and following up with any outstanding customer needs.

Throughout the day, the team is always there for you if any questions come up throughout your ordering process. They go above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of our customers and resolve any questions that may arise.

David Faris – Customer Service

David joined our team in 2023 but before his time here, he spent 24 years as a linguist in Chad, Africa. While in Maine, David has worked as a front desk clerk at the Bar Harbor Inn and as Activities Director at Seaport Village.

“I do a lot of camping throughout the year. However, I am so fascinated with Medieval English that I was able to translate and publish Wycliffe’s New Testament into Modern English. And now, I am working on Proverbs.”

What do you like most about your job?
“Family businesses are great! We improve our products and website ‘on a dime.’ And the owner works with us wrapping packages and filling orders, wherever most needed. These are great things. However, the best thing about working at Gallery Leather is the family atmosphere. I will never forget how my co-workers have helped me with challenging situations – that’s the kind of people I work with.”

Jody Colson – Customer Service

Jody joined our team in 2023 but has been doing customer service for most of her life. She grew up in her family’s convenience store and eventually ran the business for a few years. Jody believes that if she can make a person’s day even a little bit better, it’s a good day!

Prescilla Harper – Customer Service/Corporate Sales

Prescilla joined our team in 2019 but is no stranger to Gallery Leather. She originally started in 1993 and worked with the company for 10 years before leaving to raise her 2 boys Gary & Cody. She returned when life slowed down and has been back with us since 2019.

“I really enjoy interacting with people. My job allows me to do that, and help people create quality items that have their logos on them so it’s something new every day.”
